The application deadline for Edmonton Community Foundation’s Awards For Students Experiencing Financial Need is May 15th, and we would like to request your help in spreading the word to potential applicants.

The awards (including the Rose Margaret King Merit Awards, the Don Howden & Jane Squire Howden Awards  and the Teri Taylor-Tunski Awards) support students who are in financial need who have attended school in Edmonton at some point during their kindergarten through Grade 12 educational history. Priority is given to students who have attended an inner city school, exhibit a commitment to their studies, and demonstrate the likelihood of their chosen program leading to improved employment opportunities. High academic achievement is not a factor. More information about the awards and the application process can be found here: ecf.getopenfield.com/awards-for-students-Experiencing-financial-need/
