Important MacEwan Information

Applications for all MacEwan University programs with a Fall 2015 intake are now open! Follow the instructions provided on our Office of the University Registrar "Submit Application" site to submit an application.

Please advise your students it is in their best interest to apply as early as possible to the MacEwan University program of their choice since the university admits on a first-applied, first-qualified, first-admitted basis. Grade 12 students who apply early increase their chances of a seat being available to them when they meet the program's entrance requirements at the end of the year.

The new, official Competitive Programs chart has also been released online. If a program is competitive at MacEwan University it means there is a higher than 65% average needed to get in (competitive academically) and/or there are other criteria students will be assessed on (competitive non-academically; auditions, portfolios, fitness test, etc.). Please keep in mind that even if a program is competitive, we still have a non-competitive admission process, as outlined above.
